Report guide
Character Tracking
The report is tracking supplied or high-confidence character names and where they appear.
What This Means
Tracking reports are inventory tools. They do not mean something is wrong. They help you confirm that the app found the right names and that the manuscript references match your intended cast.
Worth Reviewing When
- A character you expected is missing from the tracker.
- A detected name is not actually a character.
- A naming form should be confirmed, ignored, or merged with another form.
Often Fine When
- The manuscript only mentions the character once or indirectly.
- The character uses a title, alias, or nonstandard capitalization.
- The report is a Basic overview and not a full continuity critique.
How To Review It
- 1Confirm the detected names that belong to your cast.
- 2Ignore terms that are places, objects, titles, or concepts.
- 3Add important missing names and accepted naming forms to Project Details.
